Description
Admiral "Fighting Bob " Evans (at railing) in Pullman , where he met with college President E.A . Bryan (visible here behind Evans) and briefly addressed gathered students and townsfolk before continuing south to present a speech in Lewiston . Evans is noted for having commanded Teddy Roosevelt's "great white fleet " in its 1907-1908 world tour .
