Description
1 published photographic print ; 6 x 8 cm . After WSC's then-mascot , the dog Squirt , was stolen by Corvallis , OR partisans during an October , 1905 football train trip to Oregon , Toodles the bear was stolen in retaliation by members of the Washington State football team and outfitted in crimson and grey and proudly displayed at the game . Though Squirt was returned in time for the train trip home , the team kept Toodles . He briefly served as an unofficial mascot for the school's sports teams .
