Description
The view of the destroyed south grandstand of Roger Field on the campus of Washington State University . The Fine Arts building , which was being built at the time , can be seen in the background . The stands were destroyed in a fire (later determined to be arson) in the evening of April 4th , 1970 .

Original photographic prints were scanned in color at 600 dpi on an Epson Expression 10000XL scanner and saved as tiff files. 600 pixel width jpeg files were created from those files using Adobe Photoshop CS2 and uploaded to the CONTENTdm server at the WSU Libraries.
