Although crudely carved , this is a lively procession , with a tambourine-playing woman leading the way and the child on the back of a lion playing panpipes .

Prof. Paul Brians created these photographs using an Olympus Camedia D-490ZOOM with available light, no tripod. A couple of dozen photos toward the end of the trip were made on Kodak disposable cameras. Paul Brians also provided captions and other descriptive information for the images that were cataloged and uploaded to the CONTENTdm server at the WSU Libraries.
